  34609489

Hawke Vance will do whatever it takes to protect the family business, even if it means protecting it from his own father, a man who’s just gotten hitched in Vegas to wife number nine. Growing up seeing how much chaos wedded bliss creates, Hawke’s sworn never to fall into the matrimony trap. But to get the all-important controlling shares of the company, he does need a wife.

Being caught skinny dipping is not the way ballerina Amy Powell planned to start her vacation. When the hot biker who catches her turns out to be the owner of the house she’s staying in, she’s mortified. But embarrassment soon turns to confusion and a good dose of lust when Mr. Sex on a Stick offers her the money she needs to save her brother if she’ll agree to marry him and play pretend for two months.

Only this game of make-believe quickly starts feeling too real…

Quick, Fun and Light Hearted Read

Ballerina and a motorbike rider? Shocked?Never imagined right? But, everything is possible when love knocks at your door.
Image and video hosting by TinyPicYou can have anything of mine, anything. All I want is you.

I, in my entire 18 year old life have never imagined a soft hearted delicate ballerina along with a cold hearted motorbike rider. But All I want is you is exactly that, story of a ballerina and a hot shot motorcycle dude and I loved every second of it.

I picked up this book just because I was bored and I had physics test the next day so in order to divert my mind from stressful and negative thoughts, I started reading it. And once I started reading, I was unable to put it down and hence I was unable to study for my damn test. The blame lies entirely on author's shoulders because she wrote an amazing book which made me forget about the test.*ugh, now let's forget about the test and move ahead😂*

This book had everything. It had friendship, love and off course some hate and oh boy the sexual tension? It was so damn strong, I was able to feel it. The angst was just too much to handle. I loved the characters and their easy going attitude. They were as different as they come but together they were just perfect.

So the story revolves around Hawke and Amy. Hawke is a hot shot Motorhead millionaire. He has some real marriage issues because of his father's habit of marrying again and again...he is like the glue keeping his family together. He is the one who brought up his siblings and now he needs a break but then suddenly his father has married again and now he has another step sister but having another step sister is no problem right?? But yes in his case it is when he finds his step sister swimming in his pool and that too naked and also when he is insanely attracted to her and wants to do some really dirty things to her.

Their first meeting was just hilarious and I even fell from my bed while laughing *not joking here*😂😂

This was slightly taboo being a step sibling romance but they were adults and also not brought up together so it didn't bothered me. They both got tangled up in certain situations which lead to their marriage of convenience.I am not going to reveal much and spoil everything but believe me this book was just perfect.

The character development was great. I loved their regular banter and silly fights. If you love sexy, funny, short adorable reads with a great story line then All I was is you is the book for you.

Cheating-

BOOK REVIEW: BOUND BY VENGEANCE(born in blood mafia chronicles #5 ) BY CORA REILLY

Growl
He’d never had something to himself, never even dared to dream about owning something so precious. He was the unwanted bastard son who’d always had to content himself with the leftovers of others. And now they’d given him what only a few weeks ago had been out of his reach, someone he wasn’t even allowed to admire from afar, one of their most prized possessions. Thrown at his feet because he was who he was because they were certain he would break her. He was her punishment, a fate worse than death, a way to deliver the ultimate punishment to her father who had displeased them so greatly.

Cara
She had always been the good girl. It didn’t protect her.
She didn’t know his real name. People called him Growl to his face and the Bastard behind his back. Both were names he couldn’t possibly have chosen for himself. His eyes were empty, a mirror to throw back her own fear at her. He was a brutal hand of the Las Vegas Camorra.
And now she was at his mercy.

REVIEW-- Ira Oberoi's Pursuit of Love by Niti Chopra

Sparkling and zesty with a dash of green, a Virgin Mojito is a unique blend up and Ira is one lucky girl to have found her Mojito – tall and handsome with green eyes, he is in every definition the intoxication for her. In a twist of tales, the traditional concept of the boy wooing the girl goes for a toss. Smitten at first sight, she boldly pursues her love interest, every bit candid and upfront about it.

But what is a concoction if not for a heady mix of elements? Her descriptive personal diary falls in the hands of her mother who, on the verge of a cardiac arrest, forbids her from getting into a relationship with the guy she has fallen for.  Will Ira stand up for the love that she has found?Or will she be the ideal daughter and keep the promise for her mother’s sake?

Will hers be a love story that finds it difficult to have a sweet ending or will it be the perfect fairytale to be remembered down the years?
Will Ira Oberoi’s Pursuit of Love be successful?

1. Devil In Winter (Wallflowers #3) By Lisa Kleypas
Some Quotes From Devil In Winter “Mysteries of attraction could not always be explained through logic. Sometimes the fractures in two separate souls became the very hinges that held them together.”  --------------
“If my love can hold you, I'll keep you with me.”
--------------
“Ah, Evie,” she heard him say softly, “I must have a heart, after all…because right now it aches like the devil.”
“Only your heart?” she asked ingenuously, making him laugh.
He lowered her to the bed, his eyes sparkling wickedly. “Also a few other things,” he conceded. “And as my wife, it’s your duty to ease all my aches.”

Plaza Requiem: Stories at the Edge of Ordinary Lives by Martha Batiz

Mexican-Canadian Martha Batiz has crafted, in her first collection written in English, visceral stories with piercing and evocative qualities. She has filled her recognizable, sisterly/motherly, and imaginative characters with qualities we all hold close to our hearts, but this is powerfully juxtaposed by the uncertainty that lurks at the edges of ordinary lives. Most often they are women, trapped in violent relationships, facing dangerous political situations, or learning to live with the pain of betrayal. Yet Batiz's stories shimmer with the emotional surge of vindication, evoking the rewards women attain after a powerful exploration of their darkest moments. As an emerging writer, Batiz crafts her stories with qualities reminiscent of Joyce Carol Oates, Shirley Jackson, and Cuban author Leonardo Padura: with precision, haunting vision, and the will to survive all odds.
