ARC REVIEW: Black Hat Hacker by Soraya Noami

I have the most lucrative job in the country as a hacker in the notorious underworld. I’ve built entire systems and destroyed evidence for career advancement while stealing and exploiting data for personal gain.
I’m the black hat hacker for the Chicago Syndicate and hold all the dirty secrets of the most powerful men in the U.S. in the palm of my hands, just a keystroke away from mass ruination.

However, no one knows my dirty secret, a decision from my past that’s just aching to blow up in my face and shatter my future. Especially when a certain wavy haired brunette begins to demand my attention with her odd ways and her carefree attitude.

She’s a woman who makes me go against everything I’ve ever believed.
A woman whom I’m forbidden from having my usual one-night stand with, even if she was available.
A woman whom I have to keep from getting herself killed, whether she likes it or not.

You don’t know me, but neither does she…yet.

Black hat hacker has hacked my heart. This book was simply stunning. I love mafia romances and this was one of them. It wasn't too dark but still it had some dark moments. I was unable to put this book down, it was really intriguing and full of humour and action. I read it in one sitting and I loved loved loved it!
Black hat hacker had best friends to lovers vibe and this concept was depicted in a very nice way. Their relationship wasn't irritating, and this is the first friends to lovers book in which the character's continuous denial didn't get on my nerves. It was such an enjoyable read.

Image and video hosting by TinyPicThe world can be dark and cruel, but the important thing is we face it together.

The book revolves around Henry, a black hat alpha hacker , he is so hot and oh so sinfully sexy and smart, oh forget that lets just get to the point so I was saying that Henry is a hacker who has made his way from bottom to top and has secured a reputable position in Chicago syndicate. He had an awful past and had made some seriously ridiculous  mistakes so he just sticks to one night stands. But the problem is that he is insanely attracted to his boss's sister who totally reciprocates his feelings but she is also kind of committed to a douchebag so he just holds back but he is so damn jealous and I love jealous heroes. Mary on the other hand thinks that she is not able to hold Henry's attention so because of this reason she friendzones him. All in all they both just misinterpret  each other's feelings.

Image and video hosting by TinyPicI don't fuckin deserve you, but you make me need you.

As the story proceeds their relationship blooms. Their relationship had so many bumps but they just got through it.  And oh boy!! The chemistry was just great. The sexual tension could be literally cut with a knife, it was certainly off the charts. This book had a bunch of twists and turns which were quite shocking and I really didn't see them coming. The story was so intense at certain places and so funny at the other. This book did have 2 heart-wrenching scenes and they were so well written, one of them even brought tears to my eyes. And I loved that scene.

The author did a great job with this one. She has a way of writing that consumes the readers completely. I highly recommend this book. Guys!! Believe me you really don't want to miss this one!! So go ahead and get hacked!!

BOOK REVIEW: BOUND BY VENGEANCE(born in blood mafia chronicles #5 ) BY CORA REILLY

Growl
He’d never had something to himself, never even dared to dream about owning something so precious. He was the unwanted bastard son who’d always had to content himself with the leftovers of others. And now they’d given him what only a few weeks ago had been out of his reach, someone he wasn’t even allowed to admire from afar, one of their most prized possessions. Thrown at his feet because he was who he was because they were certain he would break her. He was her punishment, a fate worse than death, a way to deliver the ultimate punishment to her father who had displeased them so greatly.

Cara
She had always been the good girl. It didn’t protect her.
She didn’t know his real name. People called him Growl to his face and the Bastard behind his back. Both were names he couldn’t possibly have chosen for himself. His eyes were empty, a mirror to throw back her own fear at her. He was a brutal hand of the Las Vegas Camorra.
And now she was at his mercy.

ARC Review: Intrepid by Keri Lake

In the corner house of an empty street, there is a boy inside a box. In that boy, there lives a secret, one so dark, it’s sealed with locks.

Nearly ten years have passed since the night I was captured. Tricked and betrayed, I suffered the hours of brutal torment with death’s cold whisper across my skin. And when the nameless faces that haunted my nightmares took everything and everyone I loved, I feared I’d never be free of the darkness.
But that's the thing about fear. Over time, it breeds anger, and when anger fills the box, vengeance bleeds out.
It's been almost a decade since I escaped their hell, staying in the shadows, hiding my demons, and God help them now that I've tasted retribution and crave more of it.
Blood is the price for pain, and I vow to take everything and everyone they love. I’m no longer a frightened boy, but the intrepid vigilante, a ruthless executioner, who will stop at nothing to punish the depraved few that stole my life and walked free.

The plan …

Review: Imperfect Misfits by Devanshi Sharma

Tiasha: I am very annoyed.
Aakaash: That’s your job, Tiasha. Good that you are doing it well.
Tiasha: And I am very serious.
Aakaash: When are you not!
Tiasha: Argh! I hate you, Aakaash.
Aakaash: Thank God for small mercies!
Just like a scoop of vanilla ice cream makes the sizzling chocolate brownie delicious, these best friends complimented each other. A chef by passion, Tiasha jumps and waves through her professional choices, while Aakaash, the witty stand-up comedian, knows exactly what he wants.
He was the tranquility which refugees crave to stay in and she was the refugee, who wanted to wander and explore. Imperfect Misfits is a story of perfect misfits, food, frolic, emotions and their endless imperfections.
The question is, will their friendship survive through this wavy journey of love?

ARC Review- The Boy And His Ribbon By Pepper Winters

“What do you do when you meet your soul mate? No wait…that’s too easy. What do you do when you meet your soul mate and have to spend a lifetime loving him in secret?
I’ll tell you what you do.
You lie.”

REN

Ren was eight when he learned that love doesn’t exist—that the one person who was supposed to adore him only cared how much he was worth.
His mother sold him and for two years, he lived in terror.
But then…he ran.
He thought he’d run on his own. Turned out, he took something of theirs by accident and it became the one thing he never wanted and the only thing he ever needed.

DELLA

I was young when I fell in love with him, when he switched from my world to my everything.
My parents bought him for cheap labour, just like they had with many other kids, and he had the scars to prove it.
At the start, he hated me, and I could understand why.
For years he was my worst enemy, fiercest protector, and dearest friend.
But by the end…he loved me.
The only problem was, he loved me in an entirely differe…
