REVIEW: THRONE OF TRUTH BY PEPPER WINTERS

The thrilling conclusion to Crown of Lies from New York Times Bestseller, Pepper Winters

“My body blinded me while his lies destroyed me. Penn Everett swept me from my world and into his, and when his lies fell apart, I finally opened my eyes to the truth. The awful, terrible truth.”

Noelle Charlston had it all: her company, a love affair, power and protection.

However, she didn’t pay attention, and in one night, everything she believed in, everyone she trusted turned out to be worse than fake.
Now, she has no one to help her. No one to free her.
She’s on her own and has to make the choice.
Who to believe?
Who to fight?

Title- Throne Of Truth
Author- Pepper Winters
Series- Truth and Lies Duet
Genre- Dark Romance, Suspense

Absofuckinglutely Fantastic!! This is the only thing coming to my mind right now. Pepper Winters has done it again, she has entirely won my heart and has turned me into her die-hard fan. "Throne Of Truth"  has successfully turned me speechless. This book has left me panting and wanting for more. Why in the hell does it have to end in the first place?*huff*. This series ended too soon for my liking, Oh come on, I want more of Penn and Elle!! Not even in a million years have I imagined for the story to take such a turn.

"You are mine, Elle.
No more secrets.
No more lies."

Throne Of Truth is an epic conclusion to Crown Of Lies. The story picks up exactly where the first book ended. Elle abducted and stolen from Penn. Thousand of questions running through her mind. Everything was a lie and now the only thing she wants is the truth. But first of all, she has to free herself from her abductor because now she is entirely on her own, no Penn and no nameless.

Penn will do anything to save her. He'll not let her go without knowing the truth. He wanted revenge but now he wants her love. He wanted to hurt her but now he wants to keep her safe. But fate has never been kind to him and everything is twisted. Penn has succeeded in saving Elle but can he save himself? can Elle save him? Is their love strong enough to get through all the chaos? Will they ever find their happily after?

Throne Of Lies is an ultimate page-turner. This book is full of angst and keeps you on the edge entire time. The Sexual Tension, holy hell!! hot hot hot.....this book is extremely hot and leaves you out of breath. Penn is the epitome of dark and dangerous but with that "I'll keep you safe because I love you" vibe. There came a point when I wanted to cry for Penn, my heart broke from the injustice served to him. But Elle was his ultimate support. She was ready to do anything to save him.

This book was hot full of suspense and alpha male with an utterly strong female. I loved Elle and Penn throughout the book. It was such an amazing journey. I want more! I want to their wedding and I want to read their vows, I want to know about their little babies. Please give me more!!

What to say about Pepper Winters. I already said so much. She is truly the queen of dark romances. She gave me a book hangover like no other. She is in a habit to torture her readers with all the angst before giving them the happily ever after. She always gives us something different. Her writing style is amazing, no complaints! Pepper Winters, you are awesome, Period!!

BOOK REVIEW: BOUND BY VENGEANCE(born in blood mafia chronicles #5 ) BY CORA REILLY

Growl
He’d never had something to himself, never even dared to dream about owning something so precious. He was the unwanted bastard son who’d always had to content himself with the leftovers of others. And now they’d given him what only a few weeks ago had been out of his reach, someone he wasn’t even allowed to admire from afar, one of their most prized possessions. Thrown at his feet because he was who he was because they were certain he would break her. He was her punishment, a fate worse than death, a way to deliver the ultimate punishment to her father who had displeased them so greatly.

Cara
She had always been the good girl. It didn’t protect her.
She didn’t know his real name. People called him Growl to his face and the Bastard behind his back. Both were names he couldn’t possibly have chosen for himself. His eyes were empty, a mirror to throw back her own fear at her. He was a brutal hand of the Las Vegas Camorra.
And now she was at his mercy.

REVIEW-- Ira Oberoi's Pursuit of Love by Niti Chopra

Sparkling and zesty with a dash of green, a Virgin Mojito is a unique blend up and Ira is one lucky girl to have found her Mojito – tall and handsome with green eyes, he is in every definition the intoxication for her. In a twist of tales, the traditional concept of the boy wooing the girl goes for a toss. Smitten at first sight, she boldly pursues her love interest, every bit candid and upfront about it.

But what is a concoction if not for a heady mix of elements? Her descriptive personal diary falls in the hands of her mother who, on the verge of a cardiac arrest, forbids her from getting into a relationship with the guy she has fallen for.  Will Ira stand up for the love that she has found?Or will she be the ideal daughter and keep the promise for her mother’s sake?

Will hers be a love story that finds it difficult to have a sweet ending or will it be the perfect fairytale to be remembered down the years?
Will Ira Oberoi’s Pursuit of Love be successful?

1. Devil In Winter (Wallflowers #3) By Lisa Kleypas
Some Quotes From Devil In Winter “Mysteries of attraction could not always be explained through logic. Sometimes the fractures in two separate souls became the very hinges that held them together.”  --------------
“If my love can hold you, I'll keep you with me.”
--------------
“Ah, Evie,” she heard him say softly, “I must have a heart, after all…because right now it aches like the devil.”
“Only your heart?” she asked ingenuously, making him laugh.

Plaza Requiem: Stories at the Edge of Ordinary Lives by Martha Batiz

Mexican-Canadian Martha Batiz has crafted, in her first collection written in English, visceral stories with piercing and evocative qualities. She has filled her recognizable, sisterly/motherly, and imaginative characters with qualities we all hold close to our hearts, but this is powerfully juxtaposed by the uncertainty that lurks at the edges of ordinary lives. Most often they are women, trapped in violent relationships, facing dangerous political situations, or learning to live with the pain of betrayal. Yet Batiz's stories shimmer with the emotional surge of vindication, evoking the rewards women attain after a powerful exploration of their darkest moments. As an emerging writer, Batiz crafts her stories with qualities reminiscent of Joyce Carol Oates, Shirley Jackson, and Cuban author Leonardo Padura: with precision, haunting vision, and the will to survive all odds.
