REVIEW: REVIVAL BY M.K. GILHER

He's a surgeon, he's a cage fighter, he's not a good boy. I feel as if I know him, yet I'm sure I don't. Dr. Jacade J. Jordan, my mystifying sex god on a stick.

Damn, she's delectable. My sweet Ivy. I want to eat her alive. But how can I possess her when she doesn't even know me? When the deception runs too deep? When I've killed for her and would do it again in a heartbeat? How can I watch her submit so perfectly when I am the one at her feet?

Enjoy the ride in the Windy City as Ivy and Jacade's timeless love story unfolds in the Return to Us Trilogy.

Title-Revival
Author-M.K. Gilher
Series-Return To Us Trilogy #1
Genre- Romance, Erotica

WOW, WOW, WOW!!! Yesss this book is that amazing. WOW is the only word coming to my mind right now! "Revival" has turned me speechless. I'm so in love with this book.

"M.K. Gilher" sure knows how to write some heart-pounding romance which leaves you out of breath. This book is scorching hot and by hot I mean panty-dropping hot. I just randomly picked this book and never ever did I think that I would like this but oh boy, liking is an understatement, I loved Revival, end off.

Ivy-- Ivy is an amazing character. She is fierce and innocent all at once. She has a traumatic past but she is strong. She has some triggers but she is not one of those week heroines who are sad and all. She is confident and proud of what she has become. The only thing I didn't like was her self-esteem issues but except that I loved her.

Jacade-- What can I say about him. He's definitely added to my book boyfriends list. He is so hot, caring and protective. He is the definition of alpha male. Jacade is dark and dangerous. This guy oozes sex appeal. He is like every girl's fantasy.

I don't wanna give away much and spoil the whole book for you but I can assure you this book is worth reading, it has a cool plot and storyline. It basically has that " I've loved you for years vibe". So "REVIVAL" introduces us to "Ivy" and "Jacade". Their pasts are dark, sinister and direful. This book is one hell of a suspenseful thriller. This book keeps you on the edge the entire time.

Jacade is a bad boy turned into a hotshot plastic surgeon but he's also kind of involved in the mafia. He has some dreadful secrets which if exposed can ruin his entire life and his chances of a happily ever after with Ivy. Ivy, on the other hand, has some serious past issues. She has made some deadly mistakes unknowingly because of which she almost died. The characters were amazing together and they had some awesome and off the charts chemistry. The sexual tension was undeniable.

But what happens when she gets sucked into Jacade's world? What happens when she realizes that her entire life was a just a lie?

REVIVAL is a perfect blend of romance, sweetness, action, humor and mystery.

This is one of those books which completely captures your attention and prevents you from getting you slee*lol*. Revival is full of twists and turns. At one moment everything is so good and smooth and then suddenly BOOM BOOM BOOM BAAH, plot twists, the type of twist which leaves you scratching your head and thinking what in the hell happened? All in all, this was an amazing read for me.

I would highly recommend this book for mafia romance lovers and for those who like dark, dangerous and commanding heroes!!

BOOK REVIEW: BOUND BY VENGEANCE(born in blood mafia chronicles #5 ) BY CORA REILLY

Growl
He’d never had something to himself, never even dared to dream about owning something so precious. He was the unwanted bastard son who’d always had to content himself with the leftovers of others. And now they’d given him what only a few weeks ago had been out of his reach, someone he wasn’t even allowed to admire from afar, one of their most prized possessions. Thrown at his feet because he was who he was because they were certain he would break her. He was her punishment, a fate worse than death, a way to deliver the ultimate punishment to her father who had displeased them so greatly.

Cara
She had always been the good girl. It didn’t protect her.
She didn’t know his real name. People called him Growl to his face and the Bastard behind his back. Both were names he couldn’t possibly have chosen for himself. His eyes were empty, a mirror to throw back her own fear at her. He was a brutal hand of the Las Vegas Camorra.
And now she was at his mercy.

REVIEW-- Ira Oberoi's Pursuit of Love by Niti Chopra

Sparkling and zesty with a dash of green, a Virgin Mojito is a unique blend up and Ira is one lucky girl to have found her Mojito – tall and handsome with green eyes, he is in every definition the intoxication for her. In a twist of tales, the traditional concept of the boy wooing the girl goes for a toss. Smitten at first sight, she boldly pursues her love interest, every bit candid and upfront about it.

But what is a concoction if not for a heady mix of elements? Her descriptive personal diary falls in the hands of her mother who, on the verge of a cardiac arrest, forbids her from getting into a relationship with the guy she has fallen for.  Will Ira stand up for the love that she has found?Or will she be the ideal daughter and keep the promise for her mother’s sake?

Will hers be a love story that finds it difficult to have a sweet ending or will it be the perfect fairytale to be remembered down the years?

1. Devil In Winter (Wallflowers #3) By Lisa Kleypas
Some Quotes From Devil In Winter “Mysteries of attraction could not always be explained through logic. Sometimes the fractures in two separate souls became the very hinges that held them together.”  --------------
“If my love can hold you, I'll keep you with me.”
--------------
“Ah, Evie,” she heard him say softly, “I must have a heart, after all…because right now it aches like the devil.”
“Only your heart?” she asked ingenuously, making him laugh.
He lowered her to the bed, his eyes sparkling wickedly. “Also a few other things,” he conceded. “And as my wife, it’s your duty to ease all my aches.”

Plaza Requiem: Stories at the Edge of Ordinary Lives by Martha Batiz

Mexican-Canadian Martha Batiz has crafted, in her first collection written in English, visceral stories with piercing and evocative qualities. She has filled her recognizable, sisterly/motherly, and imaginative characters with qualities we all hold close to our hearts, but this is powerfully juxtaposed by the uncertainty that lurks at the edges of ordinary lives. Most often they are women, trapped in violent relationships, facing dangerous political situations, or learning to live with the pain of betrayal. Yet Batiz's stories shimmer with the emotional surge of vindication, evoking the rewards women attain after a powerful exploration of their darkest moments. As an emerging writer, Batiz crafts her stories with qualities reminiscent of Joyce Carol Oates, Shirley Jackson, and Cuban author Leonardo Padura: with precision, haunting vision, and the will to survive all odds.
