Dani's Return is a short, sweet and sexy paranormal romance. Its a quick read.

Daniella Harper (Dani) is a caramel skinned beauty and off course a wolf-shifter. At a very young age she was promised to the alpha's son- Junior. She despised the alpha and Junior with all her heart. When her parents died, she made a run in order to escape from the mating with junior and never ever looked back. Dani is a strong-willed woman and would never give into a cruel man like Junior. After 10 years of hiding, she returns back to her hometown when she is informed about her best friend Hope's mother's breast cancer. Hope's mother Barbara is like a second mother to Dani and no way in hell would Dani let Barbara die.

Enters Ace Levatino(Ace)*oh so hot, temerature's rising* the new alpha of her pack. we come to know that Ace had challenged Junior for the alpha's position and successfully defeated him within seconds. Also Ace had been in love with Dani since he was 18 and Dani 13. At a very young age he realised that Dani is his fated mate.

On seeing Ace for the very first time, Dani feels an instant attraction towards him. Their connection is so strong that it seems if they are being pulled by invisible strings. They both desired each other, wanted each other, needed each other.

They were the destined lovers who were separated but destiny always has its way.
Love is confessed and they get mated but BOOM BOOM BOOM What's a love story without some villains right? So expect some action*winks*.But there is definitely a HEA so don't worry.

Its a quick read with right amount of sweetness and hotness. The characters are well developed and the story follows a steady pace. I really loved the story. If you want a quick read then go for this book you will really enjoy it.

Dani's Rating-4.5 stars
Hope's Rating-5 stars

Story Rating-4.5 stars

BOOK REVIEW: BOUND BY VENGEANCE(born in blood mafia chronicles #5 ) BY CORA REILLY

Growl
He’d never had something to himself, never even dared to dream about owning something so precious. He was the unwanted bastard son who’d always had to content himself with the leftovers of others. And now they’d given him what only a few weeks ago had been out of his reach, someone he wasn’t even allowed to admire from afar, one of their most prized possessions. Thrown at his feet because he was who he was because they were certain he would break her. He was her punishment, a fate worse than death, a way to deliver the ultimate punishment to her father who had displeased them so greatly.

Cara
She had always been the good girl. It didn’t protect her.
She didn’t know his real name. People called him Growl to his face and the Bastard behind his back. Both were names he couldn’t possibly have chosen for himself. His eyes were empty, a mirror to throw back her own fear at her. He was a brutal hand of the Las Vegas Camorra.
And now she was at his mercy.

REVIEW-- Ira Oberoi's Pursuit of Love by Niti Chopra

Sparkling and zesty with a dash of green, a Virgin Mojito is a unique blend up and Ira is one lucky girl to have found her Mojito – tall and handsome with green eyes, he is in every definition the intoxication for her. In a twist of tales, the traditional concept of the boy wooing the girl goes for a toss. Smitten at first sight, she boldly pursues her love interest, every bit candid and upfront about it.

But what is a concoction if not for a heady mix of elements? Her descriptive personal diary falls in the hands of her mother who, on the verge of a cardiac arrest, forbids her from getting into a relationship with the guy she has fallen for.  Will Ira stand up for the love that she has found?Or will she be the ideal daughter and keep the promise for her mother’s sake?

Will hers be a love story that finds it difficult to have a sweet ending or will it be the perfect fairytale to be remembered down the years?
Will Ira Oberoi’s Pursuit of Love be successful?

1. Devil In Winter (Wallflowers #3) By Lisa Kleypas
Some Quotes From Devil In Winter “Mysteries of attraction could not always be explained through logic. Sometimes the fractures in two separate souls became the very hinges that held them together.”  --------------
“If my love can hold you, I'll keep you with me.”
--------------
“Ah, Evie,” she heard him say softly, “I must have a heart, after all…because right now it aches like the devil.”
“Only your heart?” she asked ingenuously, making him laugh.
He lowered her to the bed, his eyes sparkling wickedly. “Also a few other things,” he conceded. “And as my wife, it’s your duty to ease all my aches.”

Plaza Requiem: Stories at the Edge of Ordinary Lives by Martha Batiz

Mexican-Canadian Martha Batiz has crafted, in her first collection written in English, visceral stories with piercing and evocative qualities. She has filled her recognizable, sisterly/motherly, and imaginative characters with qualities we all hold close to our hearts, but this is powerfully juxtaposed by the uncertainty that lurks at the edges of ordinary lives. Most often they are women, trapped in violent relationships, facing dangerous political situations, or learning to live with the pain of betrayal. Yet Batiz's stories shimmer with the emotional surge of vindication, evoking the rewards women attain after a powerful exploration of their darkest moments. As an emerging writer, Batiz crafts her stories with qualities reminiscent of Joyce Carol Oates, Shirley Jackson, and Cuban author Leonardo Padura: with precision, haunting vision, and the will to survive all odds.
